Most editing focuses on the visual layer: clean cuts, good pacing, nice graphics. Those matter. But they're not what makes someone watch to the end and then book a call. What does that is storytelling, the way you structure information, build tension, deliver payoff, and guide the viewer from curious to convinced.
On YouTube, attention is trust. The viewer who drops off at 40% never sees the part of your video where they realize you're the right person for them. Every minute I cut is a minute their trust has to survive. Every hook I build is a reason for them to give that trust a chance. That's what I'm optimizing for, not metrics, but the moment a viewer becomes a client.
